This fabulous 76
min. documentary examines how the Bolivarian
Revolution of Venezuela is connected to the
worldwide movement against capitalist globalization,
showing the historical evolution of the popular
movement in Venezuela over a twelve year period from
the Caracazo riots of 1989 to the return of
President Hugo Chavez in 2002 after a U.S. led
military coup.
It shows how the
incredible grassroots and networking power of the
Bolivarian Revolution transcends national boundaries
and contributes concrete alternatives to the fight
against neoliberal capitalism. |
